Today I'm sharing my home office, and linking up again with Kelly's Home Tour.
Welcome to my office. This is the room that I head straight to in the morning after I get up and get my coffee. This is where I do all of my blogging, editing, etc. This is my space.
This room is one that I love but I haven't done a lot with. I have a couple of things I want to hang on the walls, so now I need to make time and just do it.

I'll probably add in a couple of things, but for the most part, I like most of the rooms in our house pretty simple.
The green chair was one I used to borrow from my Grandparents as a photography prop. After they passed, I inherited it, and I'm determined to make it work. There is a little tear in the material that isn't fixable. At some point, I'll probably have it reupholstered.

I need to either get new curtains ties, or take down the curtains on the doors. I've had those up since we first moved in. Over the years, the kids messed with them, and eventually, I've lost both of the ties to tie back the fabric.
I love this built in bookshelf, but I am not an interior designer, so I struggle decorating this thing, while also keeping it functional. In the cupboards below, I keep baskets with computer paper, my printers, extra ink, my camera and lenses, plus anything else that I don't want out on display.
On the bookshelf, I have a few cookbooks, a handful of different devotionals and biblical studies. I also have books I read with the kids plus some old photography books that I used when first learning to take and edit pictures. I've also incorporated a couple of pieces that we picked up when we went over seas.

Anyone with an knack for interior designing want to swing by and spruce it up? Call me! ;)
Here is the schedule for the rest of the home tours. Only 3 weeks left.
Below are links to the other rooms that I've shared.
I can't wait to check out all the other home offices, and get some ideas.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
XOXO
What a lovely and organized office!! I can't believe how tidy your desk is!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :) It's definitely not always tidy, but the drawers help a lot with extra storage. The desk is actually easier to keep clean than the green chair. I'm always stacking something on it. :P
DeleteSuch a great office! Everything in your home looks so crisp and clean :) I'm not the best at decorating either, but I think what you've done is nice! You can always copy ideas off of Pinterest ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your built in! I have an old Brownie camera too! But girl, you need some things on the walls, lol!
