Yesterday was my catch up day.  I was able to get a few things done around the house.

I ordered senior pictures for some friends of the family.  They were a little late in the game for getting their son's senior pictures scheduled, so at the last minute, I had offered to take them.

It's nice to get a little extra spending money, or some money to go into our travel fund.  But even though I do enjoy it, I am thankful to be "retired."

Later I met up for lunch with one of my besties for her birthday, and then ran a few errands around town.  By the time that was done, it was time for me to grab my magazine and coffee and wait for the school bus to arrive.

Dan is out of town for a couple of days for business, so that leaves me in charge of the wood furnace.  #boo  #hurryhomedan

This bad boy is how we heat our house!

Actually it's not that bad, especially if I do it before dark.  Once it's dark out, I'm a chicken.   Halfway between the boiler and those trees a couple years ago, we had a cougar take down a deer.  Eeeks!  You never know what could be out there, especially at dark.
That being said, I feel very justified in the fact that I'm a chicken.  Ha!  ;)  I want to live, people!  Bit dramatic... yes.  Justified... yes!  Silly selfie that I didn't really need to post, but did because I wanted one more picture for the post... yes!

Have a great day friends!
