Happy Friday Friends!
It's always crazy to me how fast one week rolls into the next. It seems I was just getting ready to leave on our vacation, and now it's already been a week since we've been back home.
Okay, onto my favorites for the week.
~ONE~
If you missed my last post where I share my Summer must haves, click here to check it out, and then be sure to follow my link back to Erin's post and check out what everyone else's Summer must haves were.~TWO~
I'm just about finished with this book, and I've really liked it! Nothing that she said was new or anything that I didn't already know, besides her own experiences. But it's sure nice to have a reminder every once in a while. Someone to help put everything back into perspective and get you thinking straight again.~THREE~
If I could only remember to do this more often. I am a natural over-analyzer. I can over-analyze any and every situation, and it doesn't do me any good. I need to learn to accept what is, and let go of what was, a whole lot easier.~FOUR~
For about a week the weather has been so nice here. Like upper 70's low 80's. It's been great!
One afternoon before I planned to meet my sister for lunch, I grabbed an ice tea and walked down to our park/dam. It was gorgeous out, I had an ice tea, I was wearing my Birks and life was glorious! I whine all winter long about the cold weather, but I make up for it by singing about how awesome summer is. ;)
Yesterday, I went for another chiropractic appointment, and I had to stop and snap a picture of Flathead lake. These pictures don't do it justice. If you follow me on Instagram, be sure and check out my story. I took a video that shows it off so much better.

Have the best weekend!
Happy Mother's Day to all you Mama's out there!
XO,
I love that saying and it's totally true. It's so hard to do justice sometimes in pictures with the beautiful places we see. The lake looks gorgeous. I've been taking my iced tea down to the pool all week long. Happy Mother's Day, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been nice here too - yay! The lake looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful is that lake?! And I love that quote. I'm an over analyser myself!
ReplyDeleteIt Ends with Us was such a good book! I love that quote that your posted and it's a great reminder for me. And that lake view is so beautiful! Have a great weekend and a Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness your weather is warming up. The scenery around your place is incredible. I'd hate to show you a picture of our flat prairies around Houston with billboards and highways. Blah! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat lake is gorgeous! I'm so happy the nice weather is finally here and sticking around. It feels good to put the birkenstocks on ;-) Happy Friday!

I haven't heard of anyone who hasn't liked it yet. It took me a couple of weeks to quit thinking about it. As for the lake... if only summer would hurry up so we could use it. ;) Have a great weekend!
DeleteI love that quote with the footprint in the sand. I am an over analyzer too and sometimes a worrywart. I need to get much better at that. Your walk looks so pretty. It's true, sometimes pictures just don't do it justice. I hope you have the best weekend and a wonderful Mother's Day <3 Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteI have had "Present Over Perfect" for ages, and still need to read it. I'm looking forward to it (and I LOVE the cover). :)

You'll have to let me know what you think once you get around to reading it. It might just be where I am in life right now, but it was just what I needed to hear. Especially before the kids are home for the summer! :) Enjoy your weekend!
DeleteWow! I really am not an outdoorsy-girl, but your photos have me totally envious! Maybe I need to schedule a summer vacation to Colorado or Montana with my kids (who are outdoor people!) Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteSeriously I need to visit someday, your area is beautiful! I am an over analyzer too! Happy week lady :) xoxo erin
ReplyDeleteI love that swim cover up! Hope you had a great weekend!
