Today I'm sharing 10 must haves for Summer vacation. Which is perfect because we just got back last weekend from our vacation, and warm sunny weather is still on my mind
Here is my list in no particular order...
Swim cover
I love a cute swim cover. I don't have this one
yet... but isn't it cute?!
Sunblock
Hawaiian Tropic is my favorite sunblock. It works great and smells even better.
A good swimsuit
I shared a favorite swimsuit of mine the other day, and this is my other favorite. This is one I have to be a bit more careful with, so I don't end up with weird tan lines, but I like that things are a bit more covered and family friendly.
Flip flops
Reef's are one of my favorite brands for flip flops. They are so comfy and wear so well.
Shades
With having light colored eyes, it's so important for me to protect my eyes. I love the idea of not spending a lot on sunglasses, but this is an area that I'd rather spend a bit more and have better protection. After all, I only get one set of eyes.
A cute fedora
I don't know about you guys, but I wear my fedora's out. I have been reshaping the one I have, and I wouldn't be surprised if I had to pick up another one sometime this summer.
A beach bag
I think this bag is cute, and I love that you can add your initial to it.
And here's a nice neutral bag, if this is more your thing. Just as cute, but with a whole different look.
A good book
This was one of the better books that I've read in a while. If you haven't read it yet, this summer would be a great time to check it out.
Magazines
This time of year, I usually always have a magazine or two in my bag. Some situations call for a book and others call for a quick read in a magazine.
A large water bottle
Being out in the sun all day, I need a large water bottle. I refuse to buy anything smaller than 32 oz. It just won't last long enough.

I just put that book on hold at the library and I hope I get it soon! I wish hats looked at all good on me. Maybe I'll eventually find one that does. I made a list of 10 things too and posted it earlier this week! I have a swim cover up / poncho towel on my list too. :)
ReplyDeleteI have that book on my list to read too! I'm always in a fedora or baseball cap. I have a couple, and this year I picked one up from the $3 bin at Target.
ReplyDeleteI so wish I looked cute in a fedora! I think they're so cute on other people, but not me :) Maybe that needs to be my next novel...I've been reading non-fiction lately. I loooooooved Reefs in high school. I'm sure I still would if I had newer ones.

Ok the new colored yetis are so fun! I love me some hot coffee but momming doesn't help with that and yetis are my life saver :). I love those beach bags you linked - cute. ReplyDeleteThat is a really cute cover up and Reefs are my favorite flip flops! I forgot how good Hawaiian Tropic smells. We've got to pick up some more tomorrow and now I'm tempted to get some of that. I've been buying the spray because it's just so darn easy, but it takes an entire bottle do the 5 of us everyday. Cha-ching!
