I missed the Christmas decor tour that Andrea was hosting yesterday. I love seeing how people decorate, but I especially love seeing peoples homes. I figured better late, than never, right?! So today I thought I'd share mine.
I keep my Christmas decorations to a minimum. Especially this year it seems. I have boxes of stuff that I didn't even attempt to get out. I'm okay with that though. A few Christmas touches around the house, and I'm happy. :)
This is our entry table when you walk in our house.
My older sister Lindy, made one of these wooden signs for herself and then decided to make one for me as well. I love it!
Dan's mom gifted this cute little village set to us a few years ago, and it's one of our favorite Christmas decorations.
Our family room is pretty much the only room in the house that is really decorated. I need to fix the lights on my mantle. The section in the middle has been out, and I've been too lazy to fix it. Also, I need to get our stockings hung.
Some people have more than one Christmas tree in their house. Does this count as my second one? ;) It adds a bit of Christmas in my kitchen without cluttering my counters.
I
picked up this cute little coffee mug the other day when I was out of
town. I can't decide whether to drink out of it, or use it to hold my
pens. I should have bought 2. It adds a bit of Christmas to my office
with a yummy Christmas candle as well.
It's puzzle season in my house, and this is the one that we're working on right now.
I may decide to pull out more Christmas decor next year and fill up the whole house, but this year we're keeping it simple.
Do you decorate a lot for Christmas, or do you tend to keep it more simple like myself?
If you love seeing how other people decorate their homes for Christmas, be sure and check out the link up over on Andrea's blog.
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteI love that sign your sis made. I have 1 village house but my mom and grandma have entire villages. Neither of them puts it up anymore so I need to just go take all the houses. :)
