Now that Gracie's 13, I guess she's old enough to get her boating license. Well, this Momma's not ready for that yet, but she's welcome to drive around and practice with her Dad. Seriously... who comes up with this stuff. There isn't a 13 year old that I've met that I want to meet out on the water driving a boat or wave runner by themselves. Eeek!
Dan's older brother took us out in his boat and pulled the kids on his new tube. They loved it!
Jesse prefers to ride by himself. I offered to ride with him. He just smiled and shook his head.
They always have the prettiest sunsets. It's the perfect way to end the evening.
At home we are surrounded by mountains and are tucked in our little valley which makes it almost impossible to get a silhouette. So the kids and I played around a bit with my phone.
Sunday morning, we took Dan's parent's boat out and we headed into Big
Fork for breakfast! I haven't ever done that before and it was so much
fun. We parked it and walked a couple blocks to the restaurant.
The kids all ordered hot chocolate and were ecstatic that the waitress put candies with it. The little things in life. :) Jesse wanted to make sure that we tipped them well. Haha!
Walking back to the boat after breakfast! So peaceful!
You wouldn't have to twist my arm to get me to do this more often.
Hope you all are having a great week so far!
Your weekend looks like so much fun and that tube looks like it would be awesome to ride in!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh this sounds like a perfect weekend! What a gorgeous lake and that tube is HUGE! We just have one person tubes, but mostly wake board.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun!
