A Lineage of Grace

I just recently finished reading A Lineage of Grace, by Francine Rivers.  It was very good, and it's been a while since I've read a good book.  In this book she has written about 5 different women of the bible and tells each of their stories.  One of the stories was on Ruth and Naomi.  The other was on Rahab the prostitute in Jericho.  All of the stories were good.

I have read all of these stories before in the bible, but it was neat to see a glimpse more into what their lives would have been like.  This book gives you some description on what they were wearing and what the culture was like, which then always makes it more fun to read the bible, when you can visualize the people in it better. 

So if you are looking for a new book to read this month, I would definitely recommend this one.  You will get interesting and fun stories along with your bible stories.  2 in one.  Talk about multitasking.  ;)
